N Wales studies bus operator of last resort

The possibility of setting up a bus operator of last resort in North Wales that could take over bus networks if commercial operators go bust, is being explored by the area’s local authorities.  

The idea features in the regional bus strategy work being led by the North Wales Economic Ambition Board and funded by £155,000 from the  Welsh Government over two years (LTT 05 Jul 19).
