A trial giving pedestrians more time to cross at signal-controlled crossings in Manchester city centre is producing positive results, according to Transport for Greater Manchester.
TfGM has adjusted signal timings at 48 installations to give pedestrians more time without significantly impacting the flow of vehicular traffic.
