CROSS flags up concerns over inadequate fire resistance in new build car parks

Car parks are being built that do not provide even the minimum of 15 minutes fire resistance, according to a report published by Confidential Reporting on Structural Safety (CROSS), which shares concerns raised by individuals about construction projects. CROSS is run by Structural-Safety, a body set up by the Institution of Structural Engineers and Institution of Civil Engineers. It is a sister to the Standing Committee on Structural Safety (SCOSS).
