Khan opens ULEZ scrappage fund

London mayor Sadiq Khan has opened a £25m vehicle scrappage scheme for low income and disabled Londoners. The grant is being introduced in advance of the ultra-low emission zone (ULEZ) being expanded up to the North and South Circular roads in 2021. Applications are invited for £1,000 for scrapping a motorcycle or moped, and £2,000 for scrapping a car.
