Dutch civil engineering company Ballast Nedam Parking has acquired UK car park design and survey specialist Stripe Consulting. Ballast Nedam is builder of car park structures in the Netherlands and has existing internal design capability, but sees the acquisition of Stripe as way of significantly increasing its in-house design capability.
However, both companies say the acquisition has been structured in a way to enable Stripe to continue providing independent advice to clients.
