Khan told to re-think taxi age limit

Thousands of London cabbies could find themselves forced out of business because of mayor Sadiq Khan’s policy to reduce the maximum age of a licenced taxi from 15 years to 12, the London Assembly has said.

Assembly members passed a motion tabled by Brexit Alliance member David Kurten calling for the 15-year age limit to be retained.
