The DfT has awarded Wokingham Borough Council £24m to deliver the 1.5-mile Arborfield Cross Relief Road. The road will link the A327 Reading Road to the A327 Eversley Road, diverting traffic away from the villages of Arborfield and Arborfield Cross, and opening up land at Arborfield Garrison for 3,500 new homes.
