Franchising not for us, says Tees Valley

The Tees Valley Combined Authority is to pursue a new partnership agreement with bus operators, after deciding that franchising is not currently a suitable course of action.

The CA, led by Conservative mayor Ben Houchen, appointed Fore Consulting to explore the different regulatory options available under the Bus Services Act 2017.
