Transport for Greater Manchester says it has spent much less on its bus franchising investigations than bus operator has claimed. Stagecoach said last month that TfGM had spent £23m on consultants’ reports assessing franchising (LTT 05 Jul). But a TfGM spokeswoman told LTT?that the spend to date, plus the budgeted spend for 2019/20, was just under £14m.
