Road traffic ‘must be cut 20% to hit net zero’

Road traffic must be cut by 20 per cent by 2030, all road building must cease, and the cost of air travel will have to rise significantly to ensure the UK hits its net zero greenhouse gas emissions target by 2050, environmental campaigners said this week.
