Greater Manchester Combined Authority has backed the introduction of bus franchising across the conurbation following Transport for Greater Manchester’s completion of a franchising assessment.

The GMCA, chaired by Labour mayor Andy Burnham, received a private report last week presenting the findings of TfGM’s work.
