Dundee to make 20mph permanent

Dundee City Council plans to make a signed-only area-wide 20mph speed limit pilot permanent. The pilot was introduced on streets in the Glens area of the city last May. Monitoring shows the limit has had no noticeable impact on speeds on many streets where average speeds were already about 20mph.
