The City of London Corporation is to begin design work on the next phase of changes to Bank Junction, which could see some of the junction’s five arms closed to traffic.

The ‘Bank on safety’ project introduced in 2017 saw all motor vehicles except buses banned from crossing the junction between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday. The City made the scheme permanent last September.
