A study of options for improving conditions for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport on the A701 just south of the Edinburgh city bypass at Straiton is being commissioned by the South East Scotland transport partnership (SEStran). The study will look at the road between Straiton Junction and Gowkley Moss roundabout, a 2.5-mile stretch serving large retail and leisure developments.
