Mental health ‘days lost’ double at TfL

Transport for London has seen a doubling in the number of work days lost to mental health issues in the last four years, from about 2,500 every four weeks at the start of 2014/15 to about 5,000 in 2018/19. In all, 67,928 working days were lost to staff sickness in quarter two of 2018/19 – 4.37 per cent of all working days.
