Urgent and unprecedented changes are needed to keep global warming to a maximum of 1.5C, states a new report from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). 

The difference between a 1.5C and a 2C rise is significant, states the report, which was approved by the IPCC at a conference in South Korea last week.
