Eight councils have persistently high nitrogen dioxide (NO2) limits, which must be addressed urgently, says a new report from the DfT and Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs. The report offers an update on the National Air Quality Plan, which requires 33 councils to submit studies on the steps they will take to comply with roadside NO2 limits.
