Congestion at Severn Crossing set to worsen after end of toll

The UK Government’s announcement that the M4 Severn Crossings tolls will be abolished slightly earlier than planned has coincided with official acknowledgement that congestion in the region will worsen. Statistics obtained by LTT confirm that traffic has grown substantially this year, despite the tolls remaining in force.
