The Prime Minister Theresa May this week announced the ten city regions in England shortlisted for a share of £840m public transport funding from the Transforming Cities Fund.
The areas that will bid for a share of the funding are: Derby & Nottingham; Leicester city; the North East; Norwich; Plymouth; Portsmouth; Southampton; Sheffield; Stoke-on-Trent; and West Yorkshire.
