The West Midlands Combined Authority is grappling with a forecast £93m increase to the cost of two Midland Metro line extensions.
The estimated outturn cost of the Brierley Hill Metro extension is now £343.6m, compared with a budget of £310m. The cost of the Birmingham to Solihull interchange route is estimated at £735m, against a budget of £675m.
