Transport contribution zones are lawful, insists Edinburgh

The city of Edinburgh Council has published new guidance on developer contributions for transport infrastructure, rejecting developer claims that it is unlawful.  

The council consulted earlier this year on a draft version of the supplementary guidance Developer contributions and infrastructure delivery.
