SW councils make the case for two STBs

Local transport authorities in south-west England are being asked to approve plans for two shadow sub-national transport bodies. 

The South West Peninsula STB would cover Somerset, Cornwall, Plymouth, Torbay, Devon and Dorset. 

The Western Gateway STB would cover Gloucestershire, Bath & North East Somerset, Borough of Poole, Bournemouth, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and the West of England Combined Authority.
