The Welsh Government must urgently introduce a new travel survey to gather the data required for monitoring and managing transport decarbonisation, according to a new report by the Institute of Welsh Affairs.
Report author Chris Roberts says the lack of statistics since Wales withdrew from the DfT’s National Travel Survey in 2013 severely hampers any attempt to change the way people travel in Wales.
