Three bus regulatory models for Wales

Welsh councils will “proactively” plan and deliver bus services in future, with bus franchising among the options available, Welsh transport secretary Ken Skates said this week.

In January, Skates told the National Assembly for Wales that “our aim is that the public transport network will be increasingly directly-owned or operated by Transport for Wales” (LTT02 Feb).
