Parking levy unlikely says Manchester chief

Manchester City Council leader Sir Richard Leese this week played down the prospect of a workplace parking levy being introduced in Greater Manchester, saying it could only be delivered if all the conurbation’s ten councils supported the idea. 

The idea of a parking levy features in a list of possible measures to improve air quality prepared by Transport for Greater Manchester.
