Swansea Council appears to have abandoned a proposed parking charge at schools following an outcry from teachers.
The proposal was made in a recent consultation on the £20m saving the authority will have to make in the next financial year. However, there was no mention of the charge in the revenue budget report presented to Swansea’s cabinet last month.
