Welsh bus operators cease trading

Two Welsh bus operators have ceased to trade in recent weeks, the latest in a string of recent closures.

Wrexham-based D Jones & Son gave only a day’s notice of its intention to withdraw services in mid-December. It had increased its operation to 19 vehicle licences following the collapse in 2016 of GHA Coaches, also of Wrexham.
