Highways England (HE) wants to study the case for new and improved orbital routes around some of England’s major urban areas.
The idea features in HE’s initial report on the strategic road network, which will inform the next road investment period (RP2: 2020/21-2024/25). The DfT has just launched a consultation (running to 7 February) on the HE’s report.
