WMCA and districts plan air quality MoU

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has explained how air quality responsibilities will be shared with constituent/non-constituent authorities. 

The WMCA functions order gives the combined authority the same air quality powers and responsibilities as local authorities under the Environment Act 1995. A memorandum of understanding is to be prepared, setting out the split of responsibilities.
