Local authority road schemes that are unsuccessful in the upcoming bidding round for the DfT’s Large Local Major Transport Schemes Fund could be eligible for funding from the DfT’s new National Roads Fund.
The DfT has invited outline business case submissions next month for the Large Local Major Transport Schemes Fund. The fund was originally worth £475m but, after this week’s awards (see front page), less than £40m has still to be allocated (LTT10 Nov).
