Parking charges at park-and-ride sites in Cambridge are to be axed just four years after their introduction. Cambridgeshire County Council introduced the £1 parking charge in 2014 to cover running costs. Use of the park-and-ride sites fell sharply, with patronage on the buses dropping 14%.
