North East Lincs set to nearly halve the cost of resident permits

The cost of residents’ annual parking permits in North East Lincolnshire could fall by nearly half if the council adopts the recommendations of transport consultancy Systra.

This follows a major review of parking, car parks, pricing and strategy in Grimsby and Cleethorpes. The cost of a resident parking permit could fall from the current £80 to £45, if approved by cabinet at a meeting on 22 December.
