A planned research centre for Very Light Rail has provisionally been awarded more than £18m by the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership.
The centre, in Dudley, will include a test track and other facilities for development of cheaper alternatives to heavy rail and traditional light rail systems (LTT 3 Feb 17).
