Action plan for mobility impaired

Measures to make transport easier to use for the mobility impaired are outlined in a new draft accessibility action plan published by the DfT. 

The document reveals that a quarter of Great Britain’s passenger rail vehicles do not meet modern accessibility standards. The deadline for compliance is 1 January 2020.
