Scotland’s four largest cities to implement LEZs by 2020

Low Emission Zones will be implemented in Scotland’s four biggest cities – Glasgow,  Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee – between 2018 and 2020, the Scottish Government has announced.  

The first LEZ will be implemented in 2018 but enforcement would not begin until some years later because the Government proposes lead-in times to give drivers time to replace non-compliant vehicles.
