Older diesel HGVs and vans face air quality levies from 2019, warns FTA

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) is warning hauliers and delivery companies that cities across the UK will start levying high charges on older diesel HGVs and vans, for air quality reasons, between early 2019 and the end of 2020.

London has proposals that could see, at the same time, many HGVs banned from the capital for having insufficient direct vision.
