Welsh Government funds free parking in Bridgend

Visitors to Bridgend will be offered free parking in a multi-storey car park as part of a Welsh Government pilot scheme.

The minority Labour Government has set aside £3m to support free town centre parking as part of its 2017/18 budget deal with Plaid Cymru. The funding has been paid to all 22 Welsh local authorities via unringfenced revenue support grant.
