Phased approach to buses open data

The Government is expected to phase-in implementation of the Bus Services Act 2017 open data regulations. Section 18 of the Act includes the power for the Secretary of State to make regulations forcing operators to release data on matters such as routes, timetables, punctuality and fares, allowing re-use by app developers and others.
