The UK’s exit from the EU could remove our influence on European vehicle safety standards and weaken the UK’s vehicle safety research community, a vehicle safety expert has said.
Consultant Paul Fay, who spent more than 30 years working on vehicle safety for Ford until retiring last year, makes the comments in a paper for the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS).
