New scenarios for travel demand forecasting will be developed in a mobility study being conducted by the Government Office for Science.
The Future of Mobility study is due for completion next summer.
Says the DfT: “The study will examine the technological, demographic, behavioural, environmental and other trends that will affect mobility out to 2040, and provide new types of scenario against which policy options can be tested.”
