A fifth of Londoners stay at home all day on any given day of the week, thus making no journeys, according to Transport for London.
The amount of time the average Londoner spends travelling each day fell more than 10 per cent, from 73 minutes to 66 minutes, between 2006/07 and 2015/16, says TfL.
