Khan consults on 2019 launch for Ultra Low Emission Zone

London mayor Sadiq Khan is consulting on bringing forward the launch of London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) to the 8 April 2019 rather than the September 2020 date proposed by his predecessor Boris Johnson. But Khan’s plans to extend the zone’s geographic coverage will not be implemented until 2020 and 2021.
