Highways England is consulting on a £170m plan to dual a three-mile section of the A303 between Ilchester and Sparkford in Somerset, to the north of Yeovil. Two route options are presented, one closely following the existing alignment, the other about two-thirds of a mile to the north. A preferred route should be announced this autumn.
