The City and County of Swansea Council plans to remodel a major city centre street after the previous remodelling, ten years ago, was judged a failure.
The remodelling of the east-west Kingsway in 2006 was part of a larger £11m project to prepare Swansea for the introduction in 2009 of the ‘Metro’ cross-city bus service operated by FirstGroup using its ‘ftr’ articulated buses.
