Think smart to deliver sustainable travel of the future

As I write this piece, we are waiting to hear which local authorities have been successful in their bids to be granted support from the Department for Transport’s Access Fund for Sustainable Travel. With more competition for less funding, it is clear that authorities need to be a lot smarter about how to select initiatives that will deliver the best outcomes for their communities.
