The DfT has announced funding from its Large Local Majors Fund for development work on 12 local authority major transport projects.
The funding has been awarded to:
Suffolk’s Energy Gateway – realigning part of the A12 close to the proposed Sizewell C nuclear power station – £1m
East Riding of Yorkshire’s A1079/A164 Jocks Lodge junction – £92,000
Shropshire’s Shrewsbury North West Relief Road – £942,000
