Designa lands $70m deal to equip four New York airports

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) is replacing parking systems at four airports.

The new payment and access control technology will be installed at John F Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, LaGuardia Airport and Stewart International Airport.

The PANYNJ has awarded the $70m (£55m) contract to Designa, a German company specialising in PARC (parking and revenue control) technology.
