Bristol City Council is seeking £2.225m from the DfT’s New Stations Fund and the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership to deliver a new rail station at Portway, on the Bristol-Severn Beach line. The station would be built adjacent to the Portway bus park-and-ride site, close to junction 18 of the M5.
