New software will produce traffic reduction forecasts on the M4

 

An update to the UK Government’s traffic forecasting software has caused the Welsh Government to delay the M4 Relief Road public inquiry by up to five months. 

One Assembly Member said she understood that the new TEMPro 7 software would produce forecasts of traffic reduction on the M4, and the Welsh Government accused the Department for Transport of “incompetence” in its handling of the update.
