Low emission bus zones for capital

London mayor Sadiq Khan has announced the first two Low Emission Bus Zones, focused on areas of the capital with the worst air quality. The first will be introduced on Putney High Street next February. Only hybrid or Euro VI buses will be deployed on routes using the street. The second zone, between Brixton and Streatham, will be introduced in October 2017. Changes will also be made to road layouts in the zones to give buses more priority. ...
